The Email Marketing Giants

I don't really care what you want do in internet marketing. You need a list.

Even if you do affiliate marketing. Sooner or later you will need to start taking emails.

If you don't, then you're leaving a lot of money on the table. Think about it. Once someones buys through your like or from you, they are a customer. It's much easier to make them buy again, a different product, if they allready bought one. It's much easier to sell to existing clients that to make a new one.

And once you start having a big list of thousands and develop that relationship with your list then it's easy. Everything is.

Anytime you don't have money you just sent a promotional offer and BAM! Money starts rolling in.

So having a list is important. It's equally important what company you use to handle the delivery to your list. You need to register with the right company from the beginning since you won't be able to transfer a list to another company later on.

The Two Email Marketing GIANTS

Now, most people I know in the internet marketing industry prefer Aweber. I myself use it too. Aweber claims to have the highest deliverability rate in the industry.

While GetResponse has fascinating features and gives you more control, I think they're both excellent. However, I haven't tried GetResponse, but I know people who do and they like it.

GetResponse has some nice features which, if usen properly can be very usefull. It has features such as split-testing, to test which email converts better. Or online surveys. Social Media Integration. Video Emails. Email To Speech.

These are all great features. But the Split-Testing one caught my eye! That can be extremely useful.

Both providers have their unique features. I can see the split test being usefull. But the highest delivery rates Aweber offers are most important.

So as I said, it's important to decide in the begining which one you will use since it's hard to transfer the list to another company later on.

So it's kind of a battle here. It's complicated to decide. Just like the battle between Coca-Cola & Pepsi.
